I was born and raised in Wichita, KS where I now raise my two sons with my husband.
I has spent the last 7 years traveling all over the US and Abroad for portraits and weddings so if you are wanting adventure, just let me know because I will go anywhere and everywhere and take beautiful photos of you all along the way.
The way that I have viewed my job as your photographer has stayed somewhat the same since I started my business in 2014. BUT what has changed is who is in my life. I have lost my dad, grandparents, babies and friends while gaining my two sons. This phase of life and loss has made me even more serious about being present in your wedding day and knowing what is important to you and then going beyond that list to what you would love to remember.
Will you get some silly photos of your friends pouring drinks into each others mouths? Abso-freaking-lutely! But you will also get a gallery full of moments that you weren't able to see like you Grandma crying during your Dad-Daughter dance or your nephew playing hide and seek during the toasts. These are all memories that you will get in your gallery because your wedding is not about being perfectly Pinterest ready, it is about the people who surrounded you on your wedding day.
My approach
Your wedding is a fingerprint of a moment that is not going to ever be recreated. I take my time and treat it exactly like that. I capture your grandparents giggling while making faces at their grand babies, your parents slow dancing for the first time in years as well as meaningful moments between you, your spouse and your other guests.
It does not make a difference to me if you have a wedding of 20 or a guest list of 500. Those guests are the most important people to you and I will spend all day capturing those moments you have with them.
Live your life with zero regrets by capturing moments in time that you could have cemented forever. Take the time to capture the love that is in your life right now as it is something you will cherish forever.
